HITS – House of Insurtech Switzerland and Tractable joined forces to run a Proof of Concept (PoC) to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) to auto claim evaluation in Switzerland. This is the first stage to show what AI can do to assess vehicle damage more efficiently in Switzerland.
The PoC used Tractable’s AI Estimating solution to assess damage from pictures, enabling an insurer to quickly understand what has happened to a vehicle and what repairs are needed. As a result, the teams were able to explore and learn the capabilities of Tractable’s visual AI technology applied to claims, leading to a better understanding of what future collaborations between Tractable and insurers can bring.
Tractable’s technology is already improving how insurance companies around the world make decisions enabling them move claims forward within minutes, accelerating the claims journey, and greatly improving customer experience.
