COVID-19 has had a profound, and long-lasting effect on almost every aspect of our lives, and is continuously, and vigorously, shaping the way in which companies need to now conduct business and engage their customers. The impact on organizations has been far reaching, and some of the areas within these organizations that have had to change the most, remain unseen to many. Payments is one such area. Have you ever wondered how all these changes affected the way we make and receive payments, and how big corporations are trying to cope with the monumental impact on their business?
We will talk with Oliver Werneyer, CEO of Imburse, as he explains how changes in the payments ecosystem, single party risk concerns and recent events like Covid 19 and the Wirecard scandal have again laid bare the significant operational shortcomings that many companies face.
Imburse is a Swiss company that affords companies the freedom to succeed through integration-free access to payment technologies and providers globally.
The HITS Insurtech Breakfast is hosted by HITS – House of Insurtech Switzerland and will take place every 2nd Friday of the month. This special edition had to be postponed due to holiday schedules in Switzerland.
Nevertheless, the fifth Insurtech Breakfast will take place as usual, so please save already every second Friday of the month in your agenda!
