HITS InsurTech Breakfast with Andri Silberschmidt

The year 2020 has had a profound effect on almost every aspect of our lives and is continuously shaping the way we see and understand everything around us. It changed the way we communicate, the way we work, shop and even enjoy ourselves. But it also changed a key aspect in our economy’s survival, it had a huge impact on the way we do business.

In this InsurTech Breakfast we will explore the many ways 2020 has impacted small enterprises and startups all over the world. We will discover how businesses had to restructure their operations in order to survive a world pandemic and more importantly who they’ve relayed on to thrive during these difficult times.

We will talk with Andri Silberschmidt, Co-founder of Kaizin & the youngest member of the Swiss Parliament, as he explains the impact small enterprises and startups faced this year.

As an entrerpreneur himself, Andri's heart is set on the concerns of start-ups and small businesses. Therefore, his mission has been to strengthen the political lobby for these companies and he is strongly committed to their stability. He was one of the initiators of a political initiative to bring in the concerns of startups to the parliament and to get them access to governmental support.
